Anti-Chk2 Antibody

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this affinity-purified reagent is a rabbit polyclonal antibody directed against endogenous Chk2 (CHEK2) protein, raised against a synthetic peptide corresponding to a region surrounding the non-phosphorylation site of threonine 68 in human Chk2. It is supplied as a 50 µl liquid formulation at 1 mg/mL in PBS containing 50% glycerol, 0.5% BSA and 0.02% sodium azide, and is unconjugated for maximum flexibility in downstream detection workflows. The antibody is validated for ELISA, Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) applications and has been shown to react with human, mouse and rat samples, making it suitable for cross-species studies of the DNA damage response and cell-cycle checkpoint signaling. The polyclonal host species is rabbit, the antibody is purified by affinity chromatography using the epitope-specific immunogen, and the product is shipped at 4 °C with a recommendation to aliquot and store at –20 °C while avoiding repeated freeze/thaw cycles.
