Chk1 (Checkpoint Kinase 1) phosphorylation at serine 345 is a hallmark of ATR-mediated DNA damage response signaling, marking activation of the S-phase and G2/M checkpoint machinery. This polyclonal antibody, supplied by Antibodies.com as a 100 µl vial at 1 mg/ml in PBS with 0.05% sodium azide (approximately pH 7.2), selectively recognizes the phosphorylated epitope in human, mouse, and rat samples.
Validated for immunohistochemistry (IHC) on formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded tissue, the reagent enables researchers to map checkpoint activation in tumor sections, DNA damage models, and replication stress studies. The unconjugated rabbit host allows flexible pairing with secondary detection reagents for chromogenic or fluorescence workflows. Store at 4 °C short-term; aliquot and freeze for longer-term storage to preserve phospho-specific binding activity.
