Anti-Chk1 (phospho-S286) Antibody

Offered by Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal antibody recognises the Chk1 protein when phosphorylated at Serine 286. It is validated for Western blotting (WB) and reacts with human, mouse and rat samples. The reagent is unconjugated and supplied at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 0.05% sodium azide, at approximately pH 7.2.

The immunogen is a synthetic phosphopeptide derived from human Chk1 around the phosphorylation site of Serine 286, and the antibody specifically detects endogenous levels of Chk1 only when phosphorylated at Ser286. The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using the epitope-specific immunogen, with a stated purity of greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE. The target protein migrates at approximately 56 kDa.
