Anti-Chk1 Antibody

Supplied by Antibodies.com, this research-grade polyclonal reagent is raised in rabbit and targets the Chk1 checkpoint kinase, a serine/threonine-protein involved in cell-cycle control. The antibody is provided as a 50 µL liquid formulation at 1 mg/mL in PBS containing 50% glycerol, 0.5% BSA and 0.02% sodium azide, and it has been affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by epitope-specific affinity chromatography. The immunogen is a synthesized peptide derived from human Chk1 around the non-phosphorylation site of S301, and the reagent detects endogenous levels of Chk1 in samples from human, mouse and rat origins. It is unconjugated and recommended for ELISA, Western blot (WB) and immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence (ICC/IF) workflows. For handling, the vial is shipped at 4 °C; upon receipt it should be aliquoted and stored at –20 °C, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve activity.
