Anti-Chikungunya (CHIKV-Env) Antibody

From Antibodies.com, this mouse monoclonal antibody targets the Chikungunya Virus envelope protein and is supplied as a purified, unconjugated reagent. Classified as an IVD antibody, it is validated for ELISA, with additional reported application in lateral flow assays. The antibody is of the IgG2b, kappa isotype.

Specificity testing indicates no cross-reactivity with Dengue, Zika, Yellow Fever Virus, West Nile Virus, Tick-Borne Virus or Japanese Encephalitis Virus. The immunogen is recombinant Chikungunya Virus envelope protein, and the reagent is formulated in 15 mM potassium phosphate buffer at pH 7.2 with 0.85% NaCl, with a stated purity of > 90%.

For storage, the antibody is shipped at 4°C; for short-term use it should be kept at 4°C, while long-term storage requires aliquoting and holding at -20°C, with freeze/thaw cycles to be avoided.
