Anti-Chikungunya (CHIKV-Env) Antibody

This mouse monoclonal primary antibody from Antibodies.com targets the Chikungunya virus envelope protein and is supplied as a purified monoclonal reagent. The antibody is of the IgG2a, kappa isotype and is unconjugated, suitable for use in ELISA and Lateral Flow applications. It is raised in mouse hosts and recognises Chikungunya as its target.

The immunogen used is recombinant Chikungunya Virus Envelope Protein, and the purified product is reported at greater than 90 % purity. The antibody is formulated in 15 mM potassium phosphate buffer at pH 7.2 with 0.85 % NaCl. For shipping and short-term storage the reagent is kept at 4 °C; for long-term storage it should be aliquoted and held at −20 °C, avoiding freeze/thaw cycles. Tested cross-reactivity shows no reactivity with Dengue, Zika, YFV, WNV, TBV or JEV.
