Anti-CHIA Antibody

This polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com targets human CHIA, also known as acidic mammalian chitinase (AMCase), an approximately 50 kDa glycosyl hydrolase implicated in Th2-driven airway inflammation and in innate immunity against chitin-containing pathogens. CHIA is secreted by epithelial cells of the gastrointestinal tract and lungs, where it cleaves chitin polymers and contributes to eosinophil recruitment and allergen-induced airway remodeling.
