Anti-CHEK2 (phospho S516) Antibody

This rabbit polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com specifically recognizes human CHEK2 (Checkpoint Kinase 2) only when phosphorylated at serine 516, an autophosphorylation site within the kinase activation loop that marks the catalytically active form of the enzyme. CHEK2 is a central effector of the ATM-dependent DNA damage response, activated following DNA double-strand breaks and propagating signals to downstream substrates that govern cell cycle arrest, apoptosis, and DNA repair. The reagent is supplied as 100 µl of unconjugated IgG in a vial, validated for Western Blot, and is reactive with human samples.
