Anti-CHEK2 (phospho S33 + S35) Antibody

This rabbit polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com is raised against human CHEK2 (Chk2) when phosphorylated at serine 33 and serine 35. Those two residues sit in the N-terminal SQ/TQ cluster domain and become autophosphorylated after ATM has primed the kinase at threonine 68, so detection of phospho-S33/S35 reports on engagement of the ATM–Chk2 axis following DNA double-strand breaks, replication stress, or genotoxic insult.

The antibody is supplied as a 50 µl vial of unconjugated IgG and is validated for Western blot. Researchers studying the DNA damage response, cell cycle checkpoint control, and tumor suppressor signaling commonly probe lysates prepared after irradiation or treatment with topoisomerase inhibitors, hydroxyurea, or other DNA-damaging agents to follow pathway activation over time.
