Anti-CHEK1 (phospho S280) Antibody

A rabbit polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com, raised against Chk1 (also known as CHEK1) when phosphorylated at Ser280. The reagent is provided as an unconjugated IgG in liquid form, produced by immunising rabbits with a synthetic phosphopeptide corresponding to the region surrounding serine 280 of human Chk1 (NP_001265.2) and subsequently isolated by antigen affinity purification.

Validated by the manufacturer for Western blotting (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC), with recommended working dilutions of 1:500–1:1,000 for WB and 1:50–1:200 for IHC. The antibody is reported to react with Human, Mouse and Rat samples, and the target protein has a molecular weight of 54 kDa.

The product is supplied in Phosphate Buffered Saline (pH 7.3) containing 50% glycerol and 0.01% Thiomersal. It is shipped at 4°C and, on arrival, should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided.
