CHD2 (Chromodomain Helicase DNA-binding protein 2) is an ATP-dependent chromatin remodeler involved in transcriptional regulation and nucleosome positioning. This polyclonal reagent, supplied by Antibodies.com, was raised in rabbit and recognizes the human and mouse CHD2 protein across multiple experimental readouts, including Western blot (WB), immunohistochemistry (IHC), and immunofluorescence (IF).

The antibody is provided as a 100 µl liquid aliquot at 1 mg/ml in PBS containing 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol as a cryoprotectant, allowing storage at -20 °C with minimal freeze-thaw cycling between uses. It is unconjugated, giving laboratories full flexibility to pair it with secondary antibodies of their choice (HRP, Alexa Fluor, or biotin conjugates) for chromogenic, fluorescent, or amplified detection workflows.

Research applications include studies of neuronal CHD2 function in developmental and epileptic encephalopathy models, investigation of CHD2 loss-of-function variants linked to autism spectrum disorder, and characterization of CHD2 activity in leukemia and other malignancies where chromatin remodeling is implicated. The polyclonal format offers recognition of multiple epitopes, which can be useful when working with samples where post-translational modifications or isoform diversity may affect monoclonal binding.
