Anti-CHAT Antibody

A polyclonal rabbit IgG antibody from Antibodies.com targets Choline Acetyltransferase (CHAT) and is supplied unconjugated. It is validated for Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC), and reacts with Human, Mouse, and Rat samples. The immunogen is a synthetic peptide corresponding to a sequence within amino acids 200–300 of human CHAT (NP_065574.3).

The reagent is provided as a liquid in Phosphate Buffered Saline, pH 7.3, containing 50% Glycerol and 0.01% Thiomersal, and has been affinity purified. The reported molecular weight is 71 kDa and the concentration is lot specific. Recommended working dilutions are WB 1:500–1:2,000 and IHC 1:50–1:200. The product is shipped at 4°C; upon delivery it should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided.
