Raised in rabbit, this unconjugated polyclonal reagent targets the CGI-43 protein, also known as JTB (jumping translocation breakpoint), a conserved factor involved in mitotic progression and cytokinesis. Supplied by Antibodies.com as a 100µL vial, the antibody is validated for Western blot and ELISA workflows across human, mouse, and monkey samples, supporting translational work that spans rodent disease models and primate tissue studies. Researchers investigating chromosomal instability, jumping translocation events, or the JTB pathway can use it to probe endogenous expression in cell lysates and tissue preparations. The polyclonal format broadens epitope coverage, increasing the chance of detecting the target despite splice variation or post-translational modifications that may shift the dominant antigenic region. Unconjugated presentation also keeps downstream choices open, allowing users to attach HRP, a fluorophore, or biotin according to their preferred detection strategy.
