Anti-CGA Antibody

From Antibodies.com comes a rabbit polyclonal antibody raised against CGA, also referred to as HCG alpha. The unconjugated IgG reagent is validated for Western blotting and reacts with human and mouse samples. It is supplied as an affinity-purified liquid preparation.

The immunogen used was a recombinant fusion protein containing a sequence corresponding to amino acids 25–116 of human CGA (NP_000726.1), and the target protein has a molecular weight of 13 kDa. The antibody is formulated in Phosphate Buffered Saline (pH 7.3) containing 50% glycerol and 0.02% sodium azide.

For Western blot, a recommended dilution range of 1:500–1:2,000 is suggested. The product is shipped at 4°C and should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C upon receipt, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided.
