Anti-CGA Antibody

Manufactured by Antibodies.com as a primary antibody for chromogranin A (CGA) research, this reagent is a rabbit polyclonal raised against a recombinant human CGA immunogen and purified by affinity chromatography on the immunogen. Supplied as a 50 µL aliquot at a concentration of 1.0 mg/mL, the unconjugated antibody is formulated in phosphate-buffered saline at pH 7.4 (without Mg²⁺ and Ca²⁺) containing 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, and is shipped at 4 °C for long-term storage at –20 °C in single-use aliquots to limit freeze/thaw cycles. It is validated for Western blot (WB), immunohistochemistry (IHC) and immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence (ICC/IF), and reacts with human as well as mouse samples, recognising endogenous levels of total CGA protein. As an unconjugated polyclonal, it offers broader epitope coverage than a monoclonal reagent, making it suitable for general CGA detection, validation studies and downstream labelling with secondary antibodies of the researcher's choice.
