Raised in rabbit and supplied as an unconjugated IgG polyclonal reagent, this Anti-CFL1 Antibody from Antibodies.com binds cofilin-1 across human, mouse, and rat samples. Cofilin-1 is an 18 kDa actin-binding protein of the ADF/cofilin family that severs and depolymerizes filamentous actin, and it drives turnover at lamellipodia, cytokinesis furrows, and neuronal growth cones. The reagent is validated for Western blot, IHC, and flow cytometry, supporting studies of cytoskeletal remodeling in cell migration, neurodevelopment, and cancer invasion models where phosphorylated CFL1 levels are tracked.
Each vial provides 200 µl of antiserum that can be paired with HRP, fluorescent, or biotinylated secondary reagents for downstream detection. For routine use, store refrigerated; for extended storage, aliquot and freeze at -20 degrees C and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. The polyclonal format recognizes multiple epitopes on cofilin-1, which is helpful when working with samples in which phosphorylation at Ser3 or other modifications might otherwise compromise binding to a single epitope.
