Anti-CES1 Antibody

This polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com is raised in rabbit against carboxylesterase 1 (CES1), a serine hydrolase involved in xenobiotic metabolism and lipid processing that is expressed in liver and in several extrahepatic tissues. Supplied as 100 µl of unconjugated antibody in a single vial, it fits directly into standard immunodetection workflows without requiring a prior labeling step.

Validated applications include Western blot for protein-level detection across cell and tissue lysates, and immunohistochemistry to localize CES1 expression in formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded sections. Reactivity has been characterized in Human, Mouse, and Rat samples, supporting comparative work in rodent disease models and in human biopsy or surgical material.
