Anti-CES1 Antibody

This rabbit polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com targets Liver Carboxylesterase 1 (CES1). It is of the IgG isotype, is supplied unconjugated, and has been validated for use with Human and Mouse samples. The product is intended for Western blot (WB) applications, with a recommended dilution range of 1:500 to 1:2,000, and is also listed for immunohistochemistry (IHC). The immunogen is a recombinant fusion protein corresponding to amino acids 287-566 of human CES1 (NP_001257.4).

The antibody is purified by affinity methods and supplied as a liquid in Phosphate Buffered Saline (pH 7.3) containing 50% glycerol and 0.02% sodium azide. The reported molecular weight of the target is 63 kDa. CES1 is an enzyme localised to the endoplasmic reticulum and is tissue-enriched in the liver.

The product is shipped at 4°C and should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C upon delivery, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided.
