Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this polyclonal reagent is raised in rabbit against Cerberus and is supplied as a 50 µl liquid format at a concentration of 1 mg/ml. The antibody is unconjugated and of the IgG isotype, and it has been affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen derived from the internal region of human Cerberus. It is formulated in PBS containing 50% glycerol, 0.5% BSA and 0.02% sodium azide, and should be stored at –20 °C where it remains stable for up to one year. Validated for Western blot and ELISA applications, the antibody detects endogenous levels of the Cerberus target and has been confirmed to react with human and rat samples, making it suitable for cross-species studies of this secreted BMP antagonist. The Cerberus protein, also known as Cerberus-related protein or DAND4 (DAN domain family member 4), is encoded by the CER1 gene and plays a key role in early embryonic patterning. A representative Western blot performed on MCF-7 cell lysates is provided on the product page as supporting validation data. This reagent is intended for research use only and is not suitable for diagnostic or therapeutic applications.
