Anti-CEP41 Antibody

Produced by Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal Primary Antibody recognizes CEP41 (also known as TSGA14), a centrosome- and basal body–localized protein required for primary cilium formation.

Mutations in CEP41 are linked to Joubert syndrome, making this antibody useful for studies of ciliogenesis, centrosome biology, and related ciliopathies.

The unconjugated antibody is supplied at 1 mg/ml in PBS (approx. pH 7.3) containing 0.05% sodium azide, in a 100 µl volume, and has been validated for Western blot detection in human, mouse, and rat samples.

CEP41 has been reported to interact with tubulin glutamylation machinery (TTLL proteins), so researchers studying post-translational microtubule modifications, basal body docking, and the intraflagellar transport pathway commonly use this reagent in lysate-based Western blot workflows.
