CENPC1 is a constitutive component of the inner kinetochore, where it contributes to centromere identity and to the proper attachment of chromosomes to spindle microtubules during mitosis. This rabbit polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com is raised against CENPC1 and supplied as an unconjugated preparation at 1 mg/ml in PBS with 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, packaged as a 100 µl vial. Researchers apply it in western blot and immunohistochemistry workflows on human, mouse, and rat samples to map centromere localization, to monitor kinetochore integrity through the cell cycle, and to probe chromosome segregation phenotypes in dividing cells. For short-term use, keep the vial refrigerated; aliquot if repeated freeze-thaw cycles are expected to preserve antibody activity. The reagent is intended for research use only and is not validated for diagnostic applications.
