Anti-CEBPA Antibody

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal antibody recognises CEBP Alpha/CEBPA and is validated for Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) applications. The unconjugated IgG reagent reacts with Human, Mouse, and Rat samples.

Shipped as a liquid in Phosphate Buffered Saline (pH 7.3) with 50% Glycerol and 0.01% Thiomersal, the antibody is affinity purified. It was raised against a recombinant fusion protein corresponding to amino acids 111–180 of human CEBPA (NP_004355.2), with sequence APAGPGGAVMPGGAHGPPPGYGCAAAGYLDGRLEPLYERVGAPALRPLVIKQEPREEDEAKQLALAGLFP. Reported molecular weights are 30 kDa and 42 kDa.

Recommended dilutions are WB: 1:500–1:1,000 and IHC: 1:50–1:200. Published IHC images include paraffin-embedded rat liver, human lung cancer, and mouse liver at 1:100 dilution, with high-pressure antigen retrieval in 10 mM citrate buffer pH 6.0. Products are shipped at 4°C and should be aliquoted and stored at −20°C upon arrival; freeze/thaw cycles should be avoided.
