CDY1 (Chromodomain Y-linked 1) is a Y-chromosome-encoded histone acetyltransferase expressed predominantly in spermatids, where it contributes to chromatin remodeling during male germ cell maturation. This unconjugated rabbit polyclonal IgG reagent from Antibodies.com was raised against CDY1 and is validated for Western blot detection across human, mouse, and rat sample types. Supplied as 100 µl of polyclonal antiserum, the antibody is intended for research applications in reproductive biology, spermatogenesis studies, fertility investigations, and work on Y-linked gene function. The unconjugated format provides flexibility in pairing with user-selected secondary labels, fluorophores, or enzyme conjugates, allowing laboratories to adapt detection chemistries to their own Western blot workflows.
