Description

The CDKN3 protein (Cyclin-Dependent Kinase Inhibitor 3, also called KAP or CDI1) is a dual-specificity phosphatase that dephosphorylates CDK2 and CDK1, modulating progression through the G1/S transition of the cell cycle. Dysregulated CDKN3 expression has been documented in hepatocellular carcinoma, glioblastoma, ovarian cancer, and other malignancies, which is why it is routinely investigated as a candidate biomarker and a window into tumor biology.

This unconjugated rabbit polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com is validated for Western blot (WB), immunohistochemistry (IHC), and immunofluorescence (IF) workflows. Confirmed reactivity covers Human, Mouse, and Rat samples, supporting cross-species studies from cell-line panels to rodent disease models. The product is supplied as 100 µl of liquid in a single-use vial, ready to dilute into standard blotting or staining buffers.

Practical applications include:

  • Western blot detection of endogenous CDKN3 from cell and tissue lysates
  • IHC on formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded sections
  • IF for subcellular localization studies

For research use only. To preserve activity across experiments, handle the reagent as single-use aliquots and protect it from repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
