CDKN2C (also called p18INK4c) is a member of the INK4 family of cyclin-dependent kinase inhibitors that controls the G1-to-S phase transition by binding CDK4 and CDK6, and it is studied extensively as a tumor suppressor in gliomas, breast carcinoma, B-cell lymphoma, and melanoma.

Validated for Western blot and immunohistochemistry on human samples, the reagent detects endogenous p18 levels in tissue sections and lysates without the need for a secondary conjugation step.
