Anti-CDKN1C Antibody

A rabbit polyclonal IgG antibody from Antibodies.com, supplied as an unconjugated liquid and raised against CDKN1C (also known as p57 Kip2). It is validated for Western blot applications and, according to the manufacturer's product information, reacts with Human, Mouse and Rat samples.

The antibody was generated using a recombinant fusion protein corresponding to amino acids 1–107 of human CDKN1C/p57 Kip2 (NP_000067.1) and is affinity purified. It is supplied in Phosphate Buffered Saline (pH 7.3) containing 50% glycerol and 0.05% Proclin 300, with the target protein reported at a molecular weight of 57 kDa. Concentration is lot specific. Recommended Western blot dilutions are 1:500–1:1,000. The product is shipped at 4°C; upon delivery it should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided.

Validation data, supplied as one scientific image, describe Western blot detection at a 1:1,000 primary dilution with a Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG H&L (HRP) secondary at 1:10,000, 25 µg lysate per lane, blocking in 3% non-fat dry milk in TBST, and detection with an ECL Basic Kit at 180 s exposure.
