Anti-CDK6 Antibody

CDK6 partners with D-type cyclins to phosphorylate retinoblastoma (RB) protein and drive the G1-to-S transition of the cell cycle, so the antibody is widely used to profile proliferation, differentiation, and senescence programs. It is also deployed to characterise aberrant CDK6 expression in acute lymphoblastic leukemia, mantle cell lymphoma, and melanoma, where CDK6 activity intersects with the p16/INK4a-RB axis. Predominantly nuclear staining in actively cycling cells makes the reagent well suited to IHC of proliferative compartments and IF co-stains alongside lineage or cell-cycle markers such as Ki-67 or cyclin D1.

The unconjugated format gives laboratories full freedom to conjugate the antibody to HRP for chromogenic detection, to Alexa Fluor-type dyes for fluorescence imaging, or to biotin and streptavidin for tyramide signal amplification.
