Anti-CDK2 Antibody

Distributed by Antibodies.com as a 200 µL liquid polyclonal reagent, this rabbit IgG preparation recognizes cyclin-dependent kinase 2 (CDK2), the ~33 kDa serine/threonine kinase that pairs with cyclin E in late G1 and cyclin A through S phase to phosphorylate substrates such as Rb and sustain E2F-dependent transcription. Affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum and supplied unconjugated, the antibody detects endogenous CDK2 across Human, Mouse and Rat samples by Western blot.

The polyclonal format broadens epitope coverage across the kinase domain and across CDK2 isoforms, an advantage when probing lysates where expression level or post-translational modification can vary. Because the antibody is unconjugated, the same vial can be paired with an HRP-conjugated secondary for chemiluminescent Western blot, or with a fluorophore-conjugated secondary for multiplex imaging on infrared or fluorescence scanners.
