CDK11A and CDK11B (historically called PITSLRE kinases) are serine/threonine kinases of the cyclin-dependent kinase family with established roles in RNA polymerase II–associated transcription and pre-mRNA splicing as integral spliceosome components. This polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com is raised in rabbit and recognizes both isoforms, broadening epitope coverage against the two closely related proteins. It is validated for Western blot and immunohistochemistry on human and mouse samples, supporting detection of endogenous CDK11 in whole-cell lysates and fixed tissue sections. The unconjugated format, supplied as a 100 µl volume, gives flexibility to pair the antibody with user-selected HRP, fluorescent, or biotinylated secondary detection chemistries. CDK11 kinases have been investigated in connection with cell cycle progression, mitotic regulation, apoptosis signaling, and altered expression reported in cancers such as breast carcinoma, hepatocellular carcinoma, and certain hematological malignancies, making the target relevant to tumor biology, spliceosome function, and cell division research. Polyclonal recognition of conserved regions shared between the A and B isoforms can be advantageous when isoform-specific monoclonal reagents fail to detect particular splice variants or when working across species.
