Anti-Cdk1/Cdc2 (phospho-T161) Antibody

From Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal antibody is raised against Cdk1/Cdc2 phosphorylated at threonine 161 and is supplied at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 15 mM sodium azide, approx. pH 7.2. It is unconjugated and validated for use in Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC), with reactivity confirmed against human, mouse and rat samples.

Specificity has been demonstrated for endogenous levels of Cdk1/Cdc2 only when phosphorylated at Thr161, with the target protein migrating at ~ 34 kDa. The reagent was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen and shows a purity of > 95% by SDS-PAGE. The immunogen is a synthetic phosphopeptide derived from human Cdk1/Cdc2 around the phosphorylation site of serine 795.
