Anti-Cdk1/Cdc2 Antibody

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this primary reagent is a mouse monoclonal antibody raised against cyclin-dependent kinase 1 (Cdk1, also referred to as Cdc2, p34 protein kinase, CDC2, CDC28A, CDKN1 or P34CDC2). It was generated using recombinant full-length human Cdk1/Cdc2 as the immunogen and is reported to detect endogenous levels of the kinase without cross-reacting with related proteins, serving as a well-known centrosome marker for cell-cycle research. The unconjugated antibody is supplied at the 50 µl pack size as a purified mouse monoclonal preparation in 0.1 M Tris-Glycine buffer (pH 7.4) containing 150 mM NaCl, 0.2% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, and has been affinity-purified from mouse ascites by epitope-specific chromatography to approximately 95% purity by SDS-PAGE. Validated applications include Western blot (WB) and immunocytochemistry (ICC), with reactivity confirmed on human samples; both predicted and observed band sizes are reported at ~34 kDa.
