Anti-CDH3 Antibody

Raised in rabbit against CDH3, this polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com recognizes P-cadherin (cadherin-3), a calcium-dependent transmembrane glycoprotein that mediates homotypic cell-cell adhesion in epithelial tissues. The unconjugated antibody is supplied as a 100 µl vial and is validated for Western blotting of whole-cell lysates and immunohistochemistry on fixed tissue sections.

The antibody reacts with both human and mouse CDH3, supporting comparative work in mouse xenograft and knockout models alongside human biopsy material. Researchers apply it to characterize P-cadherin upregulation in aggressive breast carcinoma subtypes, to monitor changes during epithelial-mesenchymal transition, and to map adherens junction organization in epidermis, placenta, and other epithelial structures.
