CDH17 (Cadherin-17), also known as LI-cadherin or liver-intestine cadherin, is a non-classical calcium-dependent cell adhesion molecule expressed in the gastrointestinal epithelium. This polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com is raised in rabbit and supplied as 100 µl of unconjugated antiserum, validated for WB and IF on human samples.

CDH17 is a transmembrane glycoprotein found on the basolateral surface of small intestinal and colonic epithelial cells. It has attracted significant attention as a tissue-restricted marker in hepatocellular carcinoma and in certain gastric and colorectal cancers, where it is used as a diagnostic immunohistochemical marker and investigated as a therapeutic target. Because of its restricted normal-tissue pattern, CDH17 antibodies are valuable tools for distinguishing intestinal-type adenocarcinomas from other tumor types in pathology workflows.

The antibody is supplied as 100 µl of unconjugated rabbit polyclonal antiserum. Aliquot upon arrival to minimize freeze-thaw cycles, and store refrigerated; for longer storage, freeze the aliquots. Intended for research use only.
