CDH13 (T-cadherin) is a glycosylphosphatidylinositol-anchored member of the cadherin superfamily that lacks the classical transmembrane and cytoplasmic domains found in type I cadherins. It is broadly expressed in cardiomyocytes, vascular endothelial cells, and specific neuronal populations, where it contributes to cell-cell adhesion, migratory behavior, and adiponectin receptor signaling. From Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal IgG reagent recognizes the extracellular cadherin repeats of CDH13 and has been validated for Western blot detection of endogenous protein in both human and mouse samples.

Each vial contains 200 µl of unconjugated antibody, supplied as a liquid aliquot ready to dilute into standard Tris-buffered or RIPA-based lysate preparations. Aliquot upon first thaw to limit freeze-thaw cycles, store the vial at -20 °C, and protect from light to preserve activity over the stated shelf life. The polyclonal format amplifies signal across multiple epitopes, which is useful when probing low-abundance T-cadherin in cardiac, neural, or tumor tissue lysates where classical cadherin cross-reactivity could otherwise complicate interpretation.
