Anti-CDH13 Antibody

CDH13 is a frequent target in cardiovascular research, where it acts as an adiponectin receptor on endothelial cells and influences vascular remodeling, and in oncology studies of tumor suppression and angiogenesis. The antibody recognizes epitopes within the cadherin-repeat extracellular region of this GPI-anchored membrane protein, which is expressed in cardiomyocytes, vascular endothelium, adipocytes, and certain neuronal populations.

For Western blot, lysates are typically resolved on SDS-PAGE under standard reducing or non-reducing conditions and transferred to nitrocellulose or PVDF before blocking and probing.
