Anti-CDCA8 Antibody

This unconjugated rabbit polyclonal primary antibody from Antibodies.com targets CDCA8 (also called Borealin), a core component of the chromosomal passenger complex (CPC) that localizes to kinetochores during mitosis and concentrates at the central spindle and midbody during cytokinesis. The reagent is supplied as 100 µl of unconjugated antiserum and validated on human samples for Western blot and immunohistochemistry workflows. CDCA8 immunostaining is widely applied in studies of mitotic fidelity, aneuploidy, and tumor cell proliferation, and helps identify dividing cells and characterize the aberrant mitotic figures found in many carcinomas. The antibody recognizes the endogenous human protein and works under standard SDS-PAGE transfer conditions as well as on formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded tissue sections prepared for antigen retrieval.
