The Antibodies.com anti-CDC48 polyclonal antibody specifically recognizes the yeast CDC48 protein, a conserved AAA+ ATPase of approximately 93 kDa that drives cell cycle progression and ER-associated degradation (ERAD) in Saccharomyces cerevisiae. Supplied as 100 µl of liquid IgG, this unconjugated reagent is validated for western blot detection of endogenous CDC48 from yeast lysates, supporting studies of ubiquitin-dependent proteolysis, mitotic progression, and membrane protein quality control. For reliable results, store aliquots frozen at -20°C and limit freeze-thaw cycles to preserve reactivity across multiple blotting experiments.
