CDC42 is a Rho-family GTPase that functions as a molecular switch in signaling pathways governing actin cytoskeleton remodeling, cell migration, endocytosis, and cell-cycle progression. This unconjugated rabbit polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com is raised against CDC42 and validated for Western Blot detection of the endogenous human, mouse, and rat protein. The antibody is supplied as a 100 µl aliquot at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) containing 0.05% sodium azide at approximately pH 7.2, and is ready for dilution directly into standard WB blocking and incubation buffers. Researchers commonly use it to probe CDC42 expression across cultured cell lines and tissue lysates, to monitor active versus total CDC42 pools during cytoskeletal studies, and as a reference alongside other Rho GTPase family members such as Rac1 and RhoA.
