This rabbit polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com recognizes the cdc25C phosphatase when phosphorylated at serine 216, a key regulatory site controlled by ATM and ATR kinases during the DNA damage response. cdc25C dephosphorylates and activates the CDK1/cyclin B complex to drive the G2/M transition, and modification at Ser216 sequesters the phosphatase in an inactive 14-3-3-bound state, enforcing cell cycle arrest after genotoxic stress.
Validated for Western blot, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence on human samples, the reagent is supplied as an unconjugated polyclonal antiserum in a 100 µl vial. Store at -20 °C in aliquots to limit freeze-thaw cycles and protect from light during use. Researchers studying checkpoint recovery, mitotic entry, or ATM/ATR pathway signaling can use this reagent to probe endogenous phosphorylated cdc25C levels in cultured cells and fixed tissue sections.
