Affinity-purified polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com, raised in rabbit, that selectively recognizes the phosphorylated serine 76 epitope on CDC25A, a dual-specificity phosphatase governing the G1/S checkpoint through activation of CDK2-cyclin E and CDK2-cyclin A complexes. Phosphorylation at S76 is a hallmark of the DNA damage response, where checkpoint kinases such as CHK1 and CK1 mark CDC25A for SCFβ-TrCP-mediated ubiquitination and proteasomal turnover, making this phospho-specific antibody a useful readout for replication stress, genotoxic signaling, and S-phase entry studies in transformed and primary cells. Researchers in oncology and cell-cycle biology use pS76 status to monitor checkpoint integrity following irradiation, topoisomerase inhibition, or replication fork stalling, and the reagent is suited to fixed-section interrogation of tumor and normal tissue by immunohistochemistry as well as lysate-based work in Western blot.

The unconjugated IgG is supplied as a 50 µl liquid aliquot in a single-use vial format and is reactive with human, mouse, and rat samples, supporting cross-species studies in DNA repair, tumor biology, and cell-cycle modeling. For working stocks, store refrigerated at 2 to 8 degrees C and aliquot to limit freeze-thaw cycles of the parent vial, keeping the antibody protected from light between uses.
