CDC25A is a dual-specificity phosphatase that drives G1/S and G2/M cell-cycle transitions by removing inhibitory phosphates from cyclin-dependent kinases. Phosphorylation at serine 76 regulates CDC25A stability, subcellular localization, and turnover during DNA damage checkpoint activation. This rabbit polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com selectively recognizes the phospho-S76 form of CDC25A, allowing researchers to monitor site-specific phosphorylation rather than total protein levels in human, mouse, and rat samples.

Validated for western blot detection of phosphorylated CDC25A in lysates from cultured cells and primary tissues, the antibody supports studies of checkpoint signaling, genotoxic stress responses, and oncogenic pathways in which CDC25A overexpression is implicated. It is also validated for immunohistochemistry, enabling visualization of phospho-S76 CDC25A distribution in formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded tissue sections, including tumor biopsies and developmental specimens. Each vial contains 100 µl of unconjugated IgG in a rabbit host format suitable for standard HRP- or fluorophore-based secondary detection.

For best results, store the antibody refrigerated at 4°C, avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles, and aliquot upon first thaw to preserve activity over the working shelf life. Researchers studying cell cycle regulation, DNA damage response, or cancer biology will find this reagent useful for probing CDC25A phosphorylation dynamics in both in vitro and in vivo model systems.
