This rabbit polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com targets the phospho-Ser124 epitope of human CDC25A, a dual-specificity phosphatase that drives the G1/S cell-cycle transition by removing inhibitory phosphates from cyclin-dependent kinase complexes. Phosphorylation at serine 124 is a key regulatory event in the DNA-damage checkpoint, where CHK1 and CHK2 kinases modify CDC25A to control its stability, subcellular localization, and catalytic activity, linking this site to studies of checkpoint recovery, replication stress, and oncogenic transformation.

Supplied at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (pH 7.2) with 0.05% sodium azide as a preservative, the unconjugated primary antibody is packaged in a 100 µl vial suitable for multiple western blot experiments. It has been validated for western blot application across human, mouse, and rat samples, supporting comparative DNA-damage-response and cell-cycle studies in cell lysates and tissue extracts from these species.
