CDC23 (also known as ANAPC8) is a core subunit of the anaphase-promoting complex/cyclosome, the E3 ubiquitin ligase that drives mitotic exit and the metaphase-to-anaphase transition by targeting securin and cyclin B for proteasomal degradation. This unconjugated rabbit polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com recognizes endogenous CDC23 and is validated for Western blot and immunohistochemistry workflows on human and mouse samples. Supplied as 100 µL of polyclonal antiserum suitable for probing whole-cell lysates, tissue sections, and cytological preparations where cell division cycle regulation is under investigation. Researchers studying chromosome segregation, spindle assembly checkpoint fidelity, APC/C subunit composition, or ubiquitin-dependent proteolysis during the cell cycle will find this reagent useful for expression profiling and localization studies across cultured cell lines and primary tissues.
