Cdc20 is a regulatory protein that activates the Anaphase-Promoting Complex/Cyclosome (APC/C) ubiquitin ligase, driving the metaphase-to-anaphase transition during mitosis. The Antibodies.com polyclonal reagent targets human Cdc20 and has been validated across Western blot, immunohistochemistry, and ELISA workflows.
Produced in rabbit and supplied as an unconjugated preparation in a 100 µl vial, this primary antibody shows reactivity against human, mouse, and rat samples. Researchers commonly use it to investigate mitotic checkpoint signaling, chromatid separation, and the ubiquitin-dependent degradation of securin and cyclin B1 in dividing cells. The unconjugated format supports direct conjugation with user-selected reporter enzymes or fluorophores for downstream detection.
Storage at -20°C in aliquots is recommended to preserve activity through multiple freeze-thaw cycles; the reagent is intended for research use only.
