Anti-CDC2 (Ab-15) Antibody

Offered by Antibodies.com, this affinity-purified rabbit polyclonal reagent is raised against a synthetic peptide spanning residues 13–17 (G-T-Y-G-V) of human CDC2, also known as CDK1, p34 protein kinase, and P34CDC2. It is supplied as a 50µl liquid at a concentration of 1.0 mg/mL in phosphate-buffered saline (pH 7.4) containing 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide, and 50% glycerol, with no Mg²⁺ or Ca²⁺. The unconjugated antibody of the IgG isotype detects endogenous levels of total CDC2 protein and is validated for ELISA, Western blot (WB), immunohistochemistry (IHC), and immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence (ICC/IF), with suggested working dilutions of approximately 1:500–1:1000 for WB, 1:50–1:100 for IHC, and 1:100–1:200 for IF. Cross-reactivity has been confirmed in Human, Mouse, and Rat samples, making it suitable for studies of cell-cycle regulation and mitotic entry across multiple model systems. The product is shipped on cold gel packs at 4°C and should be aliquoted upon arrival for long-term storage at –20°C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve activity.
