The CD99 target, also known as MIC2, is a 32 kDa heavily glycosylated transmembrane protein broadly expressed across leukocytes and many additional tissues. This polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com was raised in rabbit and is supplied as an unconjugated 100 µl liquid aliquot, ready for incorporation into routine western blot and immunohistochemistry workflows. CD99 participates in T-cell adhesion, apoptosis induction in immature thymocytes, and transmigration of leukocytes across endothelial barriers, and it serves as a diagnostic membrane marker for Ewing sarcoma family tumors. Researchers applying this reagent to human samples gain a tool for probing CD99 expression in lymphoma subtyping, leukemia research including T-ALL, and characterization of solid tumor biopsies. The unconjugated format allows flexibility in choosing secondary labels, fluorescent dyes, or enzymatic reporters tailored to specific assay designs.
