CD9 belongs to the tetraspanin transmembrane protein family, with the unconjugated polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com binding this 24 kDa cell-surface glycoprotein across human, mouse, and rat samples. The 100 µL volume is supplied in a vial format suited to western blot detection of CD9 in cell lysates, immunofluorescence labeling of membrane-localized antigen, and immunohistochemistry on formalin-fixed tissue sections. As an unconjugated rabbit host preparation, the antibody is compatible with secondary antibody workflows including HRP, biotin, and fluorophore conjugates chosen by the end user. Tetraspanin family members participate in organizing membrane microdomains that influence cell adhesion, migration, and exosome biogenesis, making this reagent broadly useful for studies of platelet activation, lymphocyte surface phenotyping, tumor cell motility, and extracellular vesicle research.
