Anti-CD9 Antibody

Supplied through Antibodies.com, this affinity-purified Rabbit polyclonal reagent is raised against the tetraspanin family member CD9 (also known as MIC3, MRP-1, TSPAN29 and p24), a widely expressed cell-surface protein involved in cell adhesion, migration and signal transduction. The antibody is provided as a 50 µl liquid stock at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) containing 0.05% sodium azide, adjusted to approximately pH 7.2, and is unconjugated, making it suitable for direct labelling or for use with a secondary detection reagent of choice. It is validated for Western blot (WB) applications and has been tested for cross-reactivity with Human, Mouse and Rat samples, supporting a broad range of cell and tissue-based studies. The reagent is affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by epitope-specific affinity chromatography to a purity of approximately 95% by SDS-PAGE, ensuring low background and consistent performance. For short-term use it should be stored at 2–8 °C, while long-term stability is maintained by aliquoting and freezing at –20 °C, avoiding repeated freeze/thaw cycles.
