A recombinant rabbit monoclonal reagent directed against the CD86 costimulatory ligand, supplied by Antibodies.com as a 50 µl liquid aliquot of clone A10795 in PBS buffer (0.02% sodium azide, 50% glycerol, pH 7.3). The IgG antibody is affinity-purified and unconjugated, leaving the choice of fluorophore, biotin, or enzyme label to the end user.

Western blot analysis is performed at1:500-1:2000 starting dilution with 25 µg of lysate per lane, immunohistochemistry on paraffin sections runs at 1:50-1:200, immunofluorescence/ICC at 1:50-1:200, and immunoprecipitation at 1:50-1:100. ELISA is recommended at a starting concentration of 1 µg/mL. The reagent resolves CD86 as an approximately 70 kDa band (calculated molecular weight 38 kDa), matching the heavily glycosylated type I transmembrane glycoprotein encoded by gene ID 942 (UniProt P42081). Cross-reactivity is documented for human and rat samples, supporting work on B7-2/B70/CD28LG2-expressing antigen-presenting cells such as dendritic cells, macrophages, and activated B lymphocytes.

Store at -20°C and limit freeze/thaw cycles to preserve activity. The vial is shipped ready for tumor microenvironment, transplant tolerance, and T cell costimulation studies.
