This rabbit polyclonal IgG antibody from Antibodies.com targets CD83, a roughly 45 kDa type-I transmembrane glycoprotein of the immunoglobulin superfamily that serves as a defining surface marker of mature dendritic cells, activated B lymphocytes, and certain T-cell subsets. The unconjugated reagent is supplied as 50 µl of affinity-purified serum in a single vial and has been validated for western blot detection of the full-length membrane-bound isoform as well as for immunohistochemistry on formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded sections prepared from human, mouse, and rat tissues.
